Brings the ever popular Sima Taparia back on screen with a campaign drawing parallels between the search for a life partner and one’s dream home

Bengaluru, 16, September 2026: Sattva Group, one of India’s leading real estate developers with over three decades of experience, has launched its new brand campaign titled ‘Wish List’, featuring television personality and popular matchmaker Sima Taparia, widely known as ‘Sima Aunty’.

Built on decades of trust, quality and delivery, Sattva Group has created a diverse portfolio of homes across locations, formats and price segments. That breadth becomes especially relevant at a time when homebuyers are increasingly clear about what they want from a home, whether it is more space, greenery, convenience, connectivity, privacy, community, design or simply a place that feels right for their family.

This insight forms the heart of ‘Wish List’, which draws a playful parallel between homebuying and matchmaking. Both often begin with a long list of preferences and expectations, followed by the search for the one option that feels like the right fit.

Conceptualized in-house, the campaign brings this idea alive through Sima Taparia, whose familiar association with understanding preferences and finding the right match makes her central to the creative thought.

The film opens in Sima Aunty’s signature setting inside a festively decorated home, where she is seen reading what appears to be a list of qualities expected in a life partner. Visibly exhausted by the contradictory demands, she recites, “Sunny personality but cool inside… low maintenance but high aspirations.”

An off-camera voice then corrects her, “That list isn’t for a groom. It’s for a dream home.”

Sima Aunty brightens instantly and responds, “That’s easy. Just ask them to find a home at Sattva.”

The film then moves across Sattva Group’s residential properties, showcasing homes with different settings, configurations and characteristics, before closing with the campaign promise “No matter what your dream home looks like, Sattva gets a 100% match.”

Sima Aunty delivers her signature sign off in the final frame, “I have been making matches for 20 years. Turns out, the only perfect match is a Sattva home.”

The campaign gives Sattva a distinctive voice in a category that has traditionally focused heavily on locations, specifications and amenities. By using a cultural reference the audience instantly recognize, ‘Wish List’ brings warmth and humour into a decision that is deeply personal, because a home is ultimately about how people want to live, grow and build their everyday lives.

Piali Dasgupta Surendran, VP-Marketing, Sattva Group said, “Sattva has built strong trust with homebuyers over the years, and our focus is to deepen that relationship by creating a brand people feel connected to and love. A home is one of the most personal choices people make because it reflects how they want to live, what matters to their family and the everyday experiences they want around them. With ‘Wish List’, we wanted to bring that understanding into a cultural conversation that people instantly recognize and enjoy, in time for the festive season.<ins datetime="2026-09-04T16:46"></ins>

Sima Taparia is a natural fit because her world is built around understanding preferences and finding the right match. The campaign brings together the diversity of Sattva’s homes with a simple thought that every homebuyer is looking for something different, and our role is to help people find a home that genuinely fits their life.”

With ‘Wish List’, Sattva Group brings together a culturally familiar idea, the individuality of the homebuyer and the breadth of its residential portfolio in a campaign built around one simple truth. Every wish list is different, and the right home is the one that feels right for the life people want to build.

Kolkata (15 Sep, 2026): In yet another major step towards Atmanirbharta and the GoI’s Make in India initiative, Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ltd., a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, laid the keels for two Coastal Research Vessels (CRVs) being built for the Geological Survey of India (GSI), on Tuesday, 15 Sep 26.

Smt. Varsha Ashok Aglawe, the first lady Director General of GSI, was the Chief Guest for the event. The others present at the occasion included senior officials from GRSE, GSI, TNSL & IRS.

The keel of any vessel is similar to the spine in humans. The entire skeletal structure of the ship is attached to it, providing the necessary strength to the platform. The keel laying marks an important milestone in the shipbuilding process, as the vessel’s principal structural elements begin to take shape around this central component.

The CRVs will be 64 meters long and 13 meters wide with a deadweight tonnage of about 461 Tons. These vessels will have an endurance of 15 days with a top speed of 10 knots. Each ship will have facilities for 35 personnel on board.

These research vessels will have capabilities to carry out offshore geological mapping, mineral exploration (including dredging), ocean environment monitoring and research. They will have modern, well-equipped scientific laboratories on board for data processing and sample analysis. These ships will be fitted with Dynamic Positioning – 1 to enable them to maintain position even in Sea State 3. Powered by diesel-electric propulsion, with diesel generators driving the thrusters, these ships would operate within the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of India, in depths of 5-1,000 meters.

The order for these CRVs was on recognition of GRSE’s proven excellence in the field of advanced specialised vessels. The shipyard is currently building an Ocean Research Vessel (ORV) for the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, and an Acoustic Research Ship (ARS) for the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), an establishment under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

Having delivered two series of Sandhayak Class of survey vessels to the Navy and the marine acoustic research ship INS Sagardhwani to NPOL in 1994, GRSE has established its position as a designer and builder of specialised platforms.

Recently, the shipyard has received the Notification of Award (NOA) from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) for the construction of four Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs).

Smt. Varsha Ashok Aglawe, DG, GSI, said, “The two Coastal Research Vessels being constructed will prove to be extremely valuable in exploring our mineral resources beyond the country’s land borders. Once commissioned, these vessels will play a pivotal role in augmenting India’s offshore mineral exploration capabilities. This project aligns seamlessly with our national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat @2047 and achieving comprehensive self-reliance in the mineral sector.”

Cmde PR Hari, IN(Retd), CMD, GRSE said, “The keel laying of the two Coastal Research Vessels is a significant milestone, marking the transformation of design and planning into the physical construction of the vessels. Backed by strong collaboration among all stakeholders, GRSE is confident of delivering these specialised vessels to the Geological Survey of India on schedule and with the highest quality standards.”
