Air India on Tuesday revealed its latest line of uniforms crafted by designer Manish Malhotra. The uniforms are to be worn by both cabin and cockpit crew members. The rollout of these new uniforms will occur gradually in the coming months, commencing with the debut of Air India’s inaugural Airbus A350 aircraft.
The female cabin crew’s uniform showcases a ready-to-wear ombre saree, adorned with intricate patterns inspired by India’s rich architectural heritage, particularly the jharokha style. The design also incorporates elements from the new Air India logo icon, known as the Vista. The saree is complemented by a comfortable blouse and blazer, adding a modern touch to the traditional attire. (Air India)
