AAI developes in-house indigenous Central Remote Access and Control System at New Delhi

The Airports Authority of India has developed an in-house indigenous Central Remote Access and Control System (C-RACS) facility to revolutionise the process of monitoring the performance of Eldis make Radars installed across India.

This facility will assist officials in monitoring performances and issues remotely and resolve various bugs, configuration-related issues and tracker/plotter problems of the radar system. Also, it will reduce the turnaround time for repairing, minimize the dependency on OEM resulting in savings of forex to AAI.

This C-RACS facility was recently inaugurated by Sh. M. Suresh, Member ANS, AAI at Eldis Radar SMU, New Delhi in the august presence of senior officials of Airports Authority of India.

Presently this system is functional at seven Eldis Radar stations and will be installed at 14 more stations shortly. The C-RACS facility is protected with 4096-bit encryption making the system robust and secure from all sorts of cyber threats.
