BENGALURU. As part of its Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026, BEML Limited extended its outreach beyond organizational boundaries to foster an ethical, transparent, and corruption-free environment within local village communities. Moving beyond conventional workplace systems, BEML’s Vigilance Department spearheaded Vigilance Awareness Gram Sabhasin rural areas surrounding Bengaluru and Palakkad. The initiative aimed to embed core values of integrity, accountability, and responsible public resource management directly into everyday societal choices.
The campaign kicked off in Chullimada Village near Kanjikode, Palakkad, where BEML organized a Gram Sabha engaging local workers, Pudussery Gram Panchayat members, and vigilance officials. The interactive session focused on educating citizens about practical anti-corruption mechanisms, public grievance redressal channels, and the role of collective responsibility in curbing malpractice. Visual aids and targeted anti-corruption messaging at the venue reinforced the commitment to building a transparent local ecosystem.
Highlighting the importance of nurturing values early, BEML further extended the drive to Ramohalli Village in Bengaluru South in collaboration with the local Gram Panchayat and Government Higher Primary School. Over 200 participants—including students, educators, and community representatives—joined the event, which featured student-centric activities and an impactful skit illustrating vigilance concepts in a relatable manner. Through these grassroots engagements, BEML underscored that sustainable societal integrity begins by empowering young minds and rural communities to actively champion ethical practices.
