Bengaluru, September 25, 2026: Known for bringing diverse and compelling stories to its viewers, Zee Kannada is all set to present yet another fresh narrative with its upcoming show ‘Jagadhathri’, premiering on September 28 at 9 PM. The show revolves around an undercover woman police officer and presents a story that blends family, duty, patriotism, action and love.
Mokshitha Pai takes on the titular role of Jagadhathri, a police officer who balances her responsibilities at home while taking on criminals outside. The story follows her journey as she sets out to clear the name of her mother, a true patriot who has been accused of treason. Despite facing harsh words and challenges from her own family, Jagadhathri stands strong in her fight to seek justice for her mother.
Jagadhathri is both the light that keeps her family together and the flame that stands against those who do wrong. Crafted for a new generation of viewers, the show brings together a distinctive storyline, powerful characters and a fresh visual treatment, offering an experience unlike conventional television narratives.
Recently, a duet featuring Mokshitha Pai and Vijay Lalitha Surya has been creating a buzz on social media with the ‘Jagadhathri Hook Step’. Speaking about his role, Vijay Lalitha Surya said, “I have not played a character like this in a long time. It feels good to be back in a role that revolves around love and romance.”
Along with Mokshitha Pai and Vijay Lalitha Surya, Kavitha Gowda will be seen in a pivotal role. The return of the three popular actors to television has already created excitement among their fans. The show features a strong ensemble cast including Girija Lokesh, Aruna Balaraj, Lakshmi Siddhaiah, Mico Manju, Vachan Hosamath, Ravi Bhat, Sonia Ponnappa and Mansi Sudhir, among others.
Produced by filmmakers and writers Mahesh Rao and Prakash, and directed by Mahesh Sarang, ‘Jagadhathri’ is produced under the Keerthi Akshaya Network banner. Along with its family-oriented storyline, the show promises high-energy action sequences and a love story between Vijay Lalitha Surya and Mokshitha Pai. The narrative beautifully explores the two contrasting sides of Jagadhathri – a woman who takes care of her family while also standing firmly by her duty as a police officer.
