NEW DELHI. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) announced its Q1FY27 financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. On a consolidated basis, the company reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹3,598 crore and Total Income of ₹11,697 crore, while incurring ₹7,765 crore in capital expenditure.
Maintaining an average system availability of 99.80%, POWERGRID’s network reached 1,86,595 ckm of transmission lines and 291 substations. Key highlights include securing a JPY 80 billion JBIC loan for the Khavda-Nagpur HVDC project, winning five transmission projects under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB), and acquiring India’s first Synchronous Condenser TBCB scheme in July 2026 to support renewable energy integration.
