BILASPUR. A high-level performance review meeting was held under the chairmanship of CMD Shri Harish Duhan at SECL Headquarters in Bilaspur. The meeting was attended by functional directors, the Chief Vigilance Officer, Area General Managers, and Heads of Departments to comprehensively review the company’s performance in coal production, dispatch, productivity, safety, and project execution. Detailed discussions focused on monsoon preparedness measures, environmental and forest clearances, coal quality management, and CAPEX progress to ensure safe and uninterrupted mining operations across all operational areas.
During the meeting, CMD Shri Harish Duhan inaugurated the PPO/Jeevan Pramaan Patra Portal to make pension payment orders and life certificate submissions simple, digital, and transparent for retired employees and their dependents. The portal will facilitate the online distribution of PPO documents, enable uploading of digital life certificates, and provide a centralized monitoring system for faster and more efficient service delivery. Addressing the officers, the CMD emphasized that maintaining a robust safety culture, strong coordination, and timely execution are essential for SECL’s progress, urging the team to prioritize safety while striving collectively to meet production targets.
