MUMBAI. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has signed a long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) for the supply of Sulphuric Acid from its Kochi Refinery. Signed by Sujeet Jayarajan of BPCL and Jayanthan B of FACT, the agreement paves the way for establishing BPCL’s first Sulphuric Acid Plant. This landmark initiative makes BPCL one of the select few Indian refineries to produce Sulphuric Acid. The ceremony was held in the presence of BPCL CMD Sanjay Khanna, FACT CMD S. Sakthi Mani, and other senior leaders, reinforcing industrial synergy.
