NEW DELHI. The GAIL Training Institute in Noida, acting as the primary learning and development hub for GAIL (India) Limited and a major capability-building center for the country’s energy sector, celebrated its 29th anniversary by organizing the second Learning and Development Conclave. Focused on the theme Fueling the Future: Skills for a Volatile Transitional Energy Landscape, the flagship event brought together GAIL’s top leadership, various human resource executives, and representatives from leading Central Public Sector Enterprises. The gathering aimed to critically evaluate and address the rapidly shifting talent and workforce capabilities required to successfully navigate India’s evolving clean energy landscape.
Shri Deepak Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of GAIL, inaugurated the conclave and stressed the growing importance of continuous organizational learning in aligning individual employee growth with broader national energy priorities. Following a welcome address by GAIL Director of HR Ayush Gupta, who detailed the institute’s strategic workforce leadership initiatives, Vaishali Nigam Sinha, Co-Founder of ReNew, delivered the keynote address. She focused on the accelerating demand for sustainable utility solutions and mapped out the technical and adaptive skills necessary to support the workforce through India’s long-term energy transition journey.
