BILASPUR. South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a premier subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has achieved a significant milestone by securing a spot among the top 10 performing organizations in India during the Mission Karmayogi – Sadhana Saptah 2026. In recognition of this feat, the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) of the Government of India has issued a Letter of Appreciation to SECL CMD, Shri Harish Duhan.
The commission praised the organization’s proactive engagement and high course completion rates on the iGOT (Integrated Government Online Training) platform, which highlights a robust culture of continuous learning and professional development within the company.
During the Sadhana Saptah held from April 2 to April 10, 2026, SECL employees demonstrated exceptional dedication by completing various specialized digital courses focused on critical sectors. These included modules on environmental protection, sustainable and equitable development, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The GOT Karmayogi platform serves as the backbone of this initiative, providing an integrated digital framework designed to upgrade the skills of public sector employees and prepare them for modern administrative and technical challenges.
Expressing his pride in the achievement, CMD Shri Harish Duhan noted that this national recognition reflects the commitment and excellence of the entire SECL workforce, whom he referred to as dedicated Karmayogis. He emphasized that the company remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen capacity building and digital learning. This achievement further aligns with Coal India’s broader vision of evolving into a responsible and future-ready organization, ensuring that the nation’s energy needs are met by a highly skilled and efficient workforce.
