DVC ₹50 lakh Palamu Tiger Reserve conservation support

KOLKATA. Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has contributed ₹50 lakh to support wildlife conservation efforts at the Palamu Tiger Reserve in Jharkhand, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability. The cheque was handed over by Arbind Kumar Thakur, Senior GM (Mining) and Head of Project, DVC Tubed Coal Mines, Latehar, to the Palamu Tiger Conservation Foundation in the presence of senior forest officials. The funds will be utilised to strengthen conservation programmes, wildlife protection initiatives, and overall ecosystem sustainability in the reserve.
