Vrindavan, 31 March 2026: In a significant step towards promoting inclusive education, DVK Foundation has partnered with Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School (BGIS), Vrindavan, to launch a scholarship programme aimed at supporting meritorious students from economically weaker sections (EWS).
The initiative, formalised through a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), seeks to provide financial assistance and academic support to deserving students, enabling them to access quality boarding school education and achieve their full potential.
Under the programme, selected students—designated as DV Kapur Scholars—will receive comprehensive support, including study materials, uniforms, laptops, and academic incentives. Additionally, an Annual Merit Award of up to ₹20,000 will be awarded to selected students from Classes VIII, IX, and XI, based on school recommendations and approval by the foundation.
The scholarship programme has been rolled out from the academic session 2025–26 and will continue until the completion of the students’ schooling. The funds will be administered by the school as per agreed guidelines to ensure transparency and effective utilisation.
The initiative is expected to benefit several deserving students each year, strengthening efforts towards equitable access to quality education and holistic development.
