NEW DELHI. Power Finance Corporation (PFC) organised the 6th Meeting of the Group of Ministers on DISCOM viability on the sidelines of the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026. The meeting, chaired by Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik, saw participation from energy ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, along with PFC CMD Parminder Chopra, and focused on strengthening the financial and operational sustainability of DISCOMs.
