NEW DELHI. Shri Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Power and Housing and Urban Affairs, officially inaugurated the NHPC Pavilion today at the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. Accompanied by Union Ministers Shri Prahlad Joshi and Shri Shripad Naik, along with senior power officials and the NHPC board of directors, the Minister received a comprehensive overview of the organization’s efforts in hydropower development and renewable energy expansion. NHPC Chairman and Managing Director Shri Bhupender Gupta highlighted the agency’s latest technological advancements and its strategic role in bolstering India’s energy security through clean energy transitions. The four-day global exhibition, running from 19th to 22nd March 2026, continues to serve as a premier platform for showcasing sustainable infrastructure and the future of India’s power sector.
