NEW DELHI. A government-appointed Search-cum-Selection Committee under the Ministry of Steel has recommended MNVS Prabhakar, Executive Director at NMDC Steel Limited, for the post of Chairman and Managing Director of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL).
The decision was taken at a meeting held in New Delhi on Saturday after the committee interviewed several senior executives from public sector steel companies, including S. Subbaraj, Executive Director of Alloy Steels Plant at Steel Authority of India Limited, Bipin Kumar Giri, Executive Director (Mines Development) at Steel Authority of India Limited, and Munna Prasad Singh, Executive Director (Mines), OGOM, CMLO at Steel Authority of India Limited, before finalising its recommendation.
