NEW DELHI. In a significant move to bolster healthcare in one of India’s most remote regions, NBCC (India) Limited has flagged off a lifesaving ambulance dedicated to Hanley, Ladakh, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The flag-off ceremony was led by CMD Dr. K.P. Mahadevaswamy, alongside Director (Finance) Anjeev Kumar Jain and CVO Smt. Ritu Pande, at the World Trade Centre in Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. This deployment is specifically designed to address the critical medical needs of the high-altitude Hanley region, where challenging terrain and extreme weather often hinder access to emergency care. By providing this dedicated vehicle, NBCC aims to ensure faster emergency response times and provide a vital medical lifeline for the local Himalayan community.
