RAIPUR. NTPC inaugurated its flagship Indian Power Stations O&M Conference (IPS 2026) on February 13, marking the anniversary of its first unit’s synchronization at Singrauli with the theme “Optimizing Thermal Generation with Quality & Reliability.” Attended by Power Secretary Shri Pankaj Agarwal and top leadership from the Ministry of Power and CEA, the three-day event serves as a premier forum for power professionals to discuss operational efficiency and stability. A major highlight of the conference was the presentation of the Swarn Shakti and Business Excellence Awards, alongside the debut of Performance Excellence Awards for State GenCos. Participants also explored the Techno Galaxy Exhibition, which featured cutting-edge AI-driven solutions and digital innovations designed to modernize India’s power generation landscape.
