VIJAYWADA. GRID-INDIA continues to advance its commitment to inclusion and social empowerment through targeted Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. In collaboration with ALIMCO and the District Administration, GRID-INDIA supported the distribution of assistive devices to Divyangjan in Wanaparthy District of Telangana, with the objective of enhancing mobility, independence and quality of life for differently-abled individuals.
The programme was attended by Shri Chenna Reddy, Vice-Chairman, State Planning Commission, Telangana; Shri Ardash Surabhi, IAS, District Collector, Wanaparthy; and Shri M. K. Ramesh, Executive Director, SRLDC, GRID-INDIA, along with officials from GRID-INDIA and ALIMCO. The distribution included electric battery-operated tricycles, walking aids and other assistive equipment. The initiative reaffirms GRID-INDIA’s focus on inclusive development through collaborative partnerships with government bodies and social welfare agencies.
