NEW DELHI. Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, former Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, and widely regarded as the father of Indian Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability, has joined the CIMP Centre for CSR & ESG Studies Foundation at Chandragupta Institute of Management, Patna, as Advisor, Mentor and Adjunct Professor. The Centre, recently launched by CIMP, aims to advance research, training and capacity-building in CSR, ESG and sustainable development, reinforcing the institute’s leadership in responsible management education.
Dr. Chatterjee also participated in a detailed discussion on the newly framed Bihar State CSR Policy and explored strategies to enhance CSR investments in the state. He expressed gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of the Centre, and reiterated his commitment to guiding the Centre’s strategic vision, strengthening academic and research initiatives, and mentoring future leaders dedicated to impactful and inclusive CSR and ESG practices.
