The week-long celebration aims to deepen farmers’ understanding of the importance of crop insurance and help them better navigate the PMFBY scheme to secure their agricultural livelihoods.

As part of this initiative, the Company will conduct various activities across the allotted districts in the  States of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Assam and Tamil Nadu . An extensive list  of activities have been  planned to enhance farmers’ awareness and educate them regarding the features of the  crop insurance scheme, including coverage details, enrolment norms, and claims procedures. This includes various extensive on-ground programmes activities such as Fasal Bima Pathshalas, farmer workshops, Kisan Melas, and special enrolment-driven interactions targeted towards women farmers.

To further boost awareness amongst farmers, SBI General Insurance will be conducting door-to-door campaigns, educational initiatives in schools and colleges, localised engagement through bike rallies, boat outreach, street plays, and cultural performances.
