Coal India Director (HR), Dr. Vinay Ranjan, recently visited the Dipka Area of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a subsidiary of Coal India. During his visit, he inspected the Dipka Open Cast Project (OCP) from the viewpoint and chaired a review meeting focused on maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Dr. Ranjan also conducted an interactive session titled “Chai Pe Charcha” with women employees from the Dipka, Gevra, and Kusmunda Areas. In this session, he highlighted the benefits of the new labour codes introduced by the Government of India and listened to success stories of women employees, appreciating their valuable contributions to the organization’s growth.
Emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, upskilling, and professional development, he encouraged employees to stay future-ready. The Director also held a meeting with the Steering Committee members of SECL and participated in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative by planting saplings during the visit. Senior management of SECL was present on this occasion, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to sustainable growth and employee engagement.
