The Ministry of Education has instructed all government offices under its purview to use the Zoho Office Suite for preparing and managing official documents. The directive, issued by the Department of Higher Education, encourages the use of Zoho’s cloud-based tools for creating, editing, and sharing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, while also promoting collaboration through its integrated features.
The initiative aligns with the government’s focus on digital self-reliance and follows Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s endorsement of Zoho’s messaging platform, Arattari. IT and I&B Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has also highlighted his use of Zoho’s office suite for official tasks, underscoring the government’s broader push to adopt indigenous digital solutions across ministries.
