Bengaluru — September 17, 2025 : Neuberg Diagnostics Group, one of India’s fastest-growing integrated diagnostics networks, today announced the formal appointment of Kavya Velu as President – Strategy & Operations.
Kavya has spent the past 18 months in India leading Neuberg’s strategic transformation into a process-first, scalable, and consumer-focused healthcare brand, following over 3.5 years in the U.S. setting up Neuberg’s international operations from scratch. In this new role, she will oversee corporate strategy, operations, and organizational development, with a mandate to strengthen systems, drive IPO readiness, and deliver a consistent, world-class healthcare experience.

Kavya is the daughter of Dr. G.S.K. Velu, widely recognized as one of India’s leading first-generation entrepreneurs, and has built a healthcare group with annual revenues exceeding $700 million through Neuberg Diagnostics, Trivitron Healthcare, Maxivision Eye Hospitals, Kauvery Hospitals Group and other healthcare & financial services ventures.

Over the past five years, Kavya has worked extensively across Neuberg’s U.S. and Indian operations:
•International Expansion: Helped establish Neuberg’s U.S. presence from scratch, setting up operational frameworks, compliance structures, and business development strategies.
•Strategic Growth in India: Currently driving operational discipline, cultural alignment, and consumer-first branding across Neuberg’s M&A-driven network of labs and collection centers.
•IPO Preparedness: Leading governance, systems, and process alignment in preparation for future public-market growth.
•People & Training: Spearheading frontline training and leadership development for Neuberg’s 6,000+ team members.
A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, New York, Kavya holds a degree in psychology and pre-law. Her experience across international operations, startup ecosystems, and healthcare strategy gives her a unique, people-first leadership style rooted in both operational excellence and brand-building expertise.
She also serves in the board of Trivitron Healthcare & Maxivision Eye Hospitals as Promoter & Director. She is the Current Convener of the Young Leadership Panel of FICCI Tamil Nadu, mentoring entrepreneurs and startups while contributing to Neuberg’s mission of accessible, innovation-led healthcare.
