Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative, has earned a prestigious spot in the Guinness World Records for registering the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.” The 8th edition of PPC, held earlier this year, recorded a remarkable 3.53 crore valid registrations on the MyGov platform. The award was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi, attended by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Electronics & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw, MoS for Electronics & IT Jitin Prasada, and other senior officials. The record was officially verified by Rishi Nath, adjudicator from Guinness World Records.
Launched in 2018, PPC is a unique platform where Prime Minister Modi directly engages with students, teachers, and parents to promote stress-free exams and holistic learning. The 2025 edition of the programme attracted over 21 crore viewers across media platforms. Speaking at the event, Dharmendra Pradhan praised PPC for transforming exam stress into a celebration of learning, while Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted its role in promoting student well-being and career awareness during the Amrit Kaal. Jitin Prasada also acknowledged the widespread public trust reflected in the record-breaking participation.
