New Delhi: In a strategic move to repurpose underutilized government assets, NBCC (India) Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Posts (DoP) for the redevelopment of postal land parcels across India. The agreement aims to adopt a self-sustainable model that enhances public infrastructure while aligning with the Government of India’s asset monetization goals.
The MoU was formally signed by Parimal Sinha, Deputy Director General (Estates & MM), Department of Posts, and Pradeep Sharma, Executive Director (Business Development), NBCC. The signing was attended by senior officials, including the Director General of DoP, CMD of NBCC, and Director (Commercial), NBCC.
This partnership will focus on the efficient redevelopment of vacant or underused postal lands. It seeks to ensure optimal land utilization while contributing to urban transformation through modern, sustainable infrastructure.
