The Ministry of Power, Government of India, has initiated the process to fill three pivotal leadership positions at the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) through a Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) mode. The vacancies are for the posts of Chairman, Member-Secretary, and Member (Finance). These appointments are crucial for the continued development and operational efficiency of DVC, a statutory body established under the Damodar Valley Corporation Act, 1948.
The selected candidates for all three positions will serve for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge, or until their superannuation, whichever occurs earlier. All three roles are based in Kolkata, the headquarters of DVC.
