Rishikesh, 11 July 2025: THDC India Limited (THDCIL), a leading PSU in the power sector, has achieved a prestigious milestone with its Human Resource Development Centre in Rishikesh being awarded the ‘Centre of Excellence’ certification by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) India. This recognition places THDCIL’s HRD Centre alongside elite training institutions in the public sector such as IOCL and HPCL, marking its emergence as a national benchmark in employee learning and development.
Congratulating the HR team, Shri R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, THDCIL, said, “This recognition is a testament to our commitment to nurturing talent and promoting a high-performance culture. Shri Vishnoi further emphasized that the certification process involved comprehensive policy reviews, training feedback analysis, SOP and safety protocol audits, infrastructure inspections, and detailed interactions with leadership and faculty. “This milestone reaffirms our dedication to capacity building and excellence at all levels of the organization as we contribute toward the national goal of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047,” he stated.
