In a function held at the ED (Projects) Conference hall of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 22nd January, 2025, 25 personnel including executives from Projects & Modernization department were awarded under the SAIL Shabash Scheme for their commendable jobs. Mr. Sudip Pal Choudhury, ED (Projets) presided over the function and handed over the awards to the employees. Present on the occasion were Mr. Aneesh Jamaiyar, CGM (Projects), Mr. Pinaki Choudhury, CGM (Projects & Modernisation) and other senior officers of the plant. The awards included 7 awards under category-2 and remaining 18 awards under category-1 of the recognition scheme.
Mr. Pal Choudhury appreciated the sincere efforts of the employees and encouraged them to continue to work with similar zest.
Some of the key jobs for which the personnel’s contributions were recognized included Phase-II shutdown jobs of Caster-IV project, Resolution of dispute in the matter of M/s. Shriram EPC Ltd and SAIL- Rourkela Steel Plant through OEC, Developing transparency and ensuring adherence to rules & regulations, legal framework, First pushing of COB#2 Project, Completion of MSDS-VI activities, Efficiently settling bills of vendors, Order placement of COB#7 Projects.
