Shri Satish Jha has assumed charge as CMD of Eastern Coalfields Limited.
Shri Jha is an experienced mining professional with a B.E. in Mining Engineering from Nagpur University and an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management from ISM Dhanbad.
With over 34 years of expertise in opencast and underground mining, Shri Jha’s career began in 1990 as a Junior Executive Trainee at Bharat Coking Coal Limited. He has held pivotal roles in organisations such as Northern Coalfields Limited and South Eastern Coalfields Limited. A key milestone in his career was his significant contribution to the installation and commissioning of the OB-to-Sand Plant at the Amlohri Project, NCL. We are confident that his leadership and vast experience will drive Eastern Coalfields to new heights of success.
