HUDCO’s Human Settlement Management Institute (HSMI) recently organized a hybrid training program on ‘Central Know Your Customer’ (CKYC) compliance for HUDCO officials to enhance transparency and operational efficiency in financial processes. Inaugurated by Shri Daljeet Singh Khatri, Director (Finance), HUDCO, the event highlighted CKYC’s crucial role in preventing fraud and improving financial practices.
CKYC, a government initiative, centralizes KYC records, reducing the need for customers to submit multiple documents and mitigating risks like anonymous transactions. Technical insights from Shri Vijendra Pal Singh, DGM at CERSAI, and Shri K V S Gopala Krishna, AVP at KFIN Technologies, emphasized CKYC’s role in simplifying loan processing and ensuring KYC compliance for bond and debenture holders, vital for HUDCO’s operations.
