The PESB panel has been recommended the name of Akshay Shrikant Bapat for the post of Director (Technical) of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Environment) in Coal India Limited (CIL).
Bapat has been recommended for the post of Director (Technical) of MCL from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel. Candidates who were interviewed by the PESB panel were from Coal India and its subsidarries. namely – Coal India Limited (CIL), Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), , South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), NLC India Limited, NTPC Limited, Dilip Buildcon Limited and GHCL Limited.
