The work of setting up a Flying Training Academy at AAI’s Bhavnagar Airport has been initiated as the groundbreaking ceremony was held recently.
This new Aviation Academy will undeniably attract the youth towards aviation and will also provide them with the finest training to become commercial pilots. Dunes Aviation Academy will provide all the latest resources and world-class training as per #DirectorateGeneralofCivilAviation standards in Bhavnagar.
To attain commercial pilot and private pilot licenses, the trainees will have to complete 200 hrs and 50 hrs of flying training, respectively. The #FTO, once operational, will also provide facilities for drone pilot training and type rating training required for flying commercial aircraft in the near future. This initiative of AAI will carve a distinct identity for Bhavnagar in India’s aviation sector.
