Former India captain Sourav Ganguly on Saturday unveiled a bronze statue near Kolkata. During this, Sourav Ganguly traveled from Kolkata to Malda by train, but the journey was not good for Ganguly. In which train Sourav sat in, there was a fierce debate with one of his men. Sourav Ganguly was traveling to the train some 16 years later.
Indeed, Ganguly had to unveil the statue in Balurghat in north Bengal. During this time, he started traveling from the AC First Class with the postal express to go there. But when Ganguly reached his seat, a person was sitting there already. During this time, along with Ganguly was the joint association of the Bengal Cricket Association Sachin Abhishek Dalmiya.
According to media reports, when Ganguly asked the person to withdraw from the seat, the person did not left the seat and debated. After which Sourav got off the train, the crowd gathered there. But later Saurav was given a seat of AC-2. Actually this disturbance was due to technical reasons.
During the program, Sourav Ganguly said that he had traveled by train in 2001 before that, it happened after almost 15 years. Let us tell you that Sourav Ganguly is currently the President of the Bengal Cricket Association, and also a member of the BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee.
