United States ambassador Nikki Haley said to the United Nations that the rumors of her affair with President Donald Trump are "disgusting" and "highly offensive".
While calling her affair a vague argument, Haley also called these rumors to be a challenge faced by all the strong and successful women to diminish the women who manage to work their way up to positions of power, said The Guardian
In his interview, Wolff had said that he was "absolutely sure" that Trump is having an extramarital affair, but said he omitted the claim from his book 'Fire and Fury' because he was not able to substantiate it.
"I have literally been on Air Force One once and there were several people in the room when I was there", noted Haley.
Haley also shared that the attacks don't deter her from doing her work.
She explained, "Do I like it? No. Is it right? No. Is it going to slow me down? Not at all, any time this has happened, it only makes me fight harder it only makes me work harder. And I do it for the sake of other women that are behind me".
This is not the first time Haley was earlier encountered with similar claims throughout her political career, including during her campaign to become governor of South Carolina.
