“Gross Domestic Progress” or “Gross Division Politics” Says Rahul Gandhi

Congress President Rahul Gandhi pointed Mr. Narendra Modi and Arun Jaitley for the slowdown of GDP during the 2016-’17 financial year. Via twitter Gandhi criticized the economy of state commenting GDP as “Gross Division Politics”.

He tweeted: "FM Jaitley’s genius combines with Mr Modi’s Gross Divisive Politics (GDP) to give India:
New Investments: 13 year (low)
Bank credit Growth: 63 year (low)
Job creation: 8 year (low)
Agriculture GVA growth: 1.7% (low)
Fiscal Deficit: 8 year (up)
Stalled Projects (up)."

Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala stated that Demonetisation and Goods and Services Tax (GST) are the major reason for the country’s economic slowdown. The party took a dig on Modi and Jaitley stating “An arrogant Prime Minister,Shri Narendra Modi and a failed Finance Minister, Shri Arun Jaitley hell bent upon ignoring economic wisdom have dealt a catastrophic blow to India’s Growth story as proved by the latest #GDP estimates slumping from 7.3% to 6.5%.”. Earlier also Jaitley was attacked by Rahul Gandhi that he has pushed the economy into ICU.
