Prime Minister to inaugurate National Highway projects in Rajasthan today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate various National Highway projects in Rajasthan today. The projects include six Lane Cable Stayed Bridge across River Chambal at Kota, four laning of Gomati Chauraha - Udaipur section and four laning of Rajsamand - Bhilwara section. 

 Modi will also lay the foundation stone of various projects including the Jaipur Ring Road. The total outlay on these projects is estimated to be over 15,000 crore rupees. During the day-long visit, the Prime Minister will also visit the Pratap Gaurav Kendra to pay his respects to Maharana Pratap. The Kendra provides information through various exhibits, about the life, valour and achievements of Maharana Pratap. Modi will also address a public meeting.

Real estate sector also welcomes the inauguration of the Hero Honda Chowk flyover

The one side carriageway of the eight-lane Hero Honda Chowk flyover has finally opened providing a relief to the commuters heading towards sector-10, Kadipur, Sultanpu, Jhajjar. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the flyover on Monday. The Union Planning and Urban Development MoS Rao Inderjeet Singh andstate PWD minister Rao Narbir Singh were also present in the function. People can now directly go for a straight route from Hero Honda Chowk without passing through the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza.

With the arrival of monsoon road across India become death traps. Every now and then we hear news story relating to loss of life while trying to avoid potholes. Sadly, most roads across the country are in bad conditions. The quality of construction of the roads is so poor that once it rains and it becomes difficult to distinguish between a road and a drain. 10 plans get approval, traffic to ease soon

New Delhi: Traffic and transportation infrastructure planning body has approved 5 crucial projects which will tremendously ease traffic movement in the city.

Total numbers of projects which have gotten approval are 10. One of the 5 crucial projects is to make Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg signal free. The others are corridor enhancement between Modi Mill flyover and IIT Delhi, extension of Ashram flyover till Delhi Noida Direct (DND) flyover. The approval was received in a meeting chaired by Anil Baijal, the LG of Delhi.

PM Modi flags off Kerala's first Metro in Kochi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Kochi Metro today. Mr Modi took a ride in the Metro from Palarivattom station from to Pathadippalam station. Kerala Governor P Sathasivam, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and E Sreedharan popularly known as Metro man also travelled with Mr Modi.
