I&B Ministry denies screening permission to 3 films in Kerala

New Delhi: It’s no hard guess as to why the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting denied three movies screening certificates. The films were scheduled for screening at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala, set to begin from 16th June.

According to the reporters, filmmaker and the festival’s director Kamal, also known as Kamaluddin, said the reason behind the ministry’s decision was the prevailing ‘cultural emergency’ in India. Kamal, the chairman of festival organizer Kerala State Chalachitra Academy is no stranger to trouble.

The Kapil Sharma Show

The TRP of Kapil Sharma dropped down because of no Mashoor Gulati in the show

New Delhi: The TRP of The Kapil Sharma Show dropped down because of no Mashoor Gulati in it. Yes Sunil Grover aka Mashoor Gulati, along with Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar, has been boycotting the show. Even Kiku left the show but he went back to the show soon.

Few days ago, drunk Kapil Sharma not only shouted his cast members while on their way back from Melbourne but is also said to have thrown his shoe at Sunil and slapped him and humiliated him and other team members. The fight is supposed to have started mid-air and Kapil’s rude behaviour continued despite the crew of the flight and other passengers intervening. The team of the show is saying that they are doing efforts to get Sunil and other members back on the show are on and they are optimistic all will be well soon.

Raabta

Raabta - a cocktail of reincarnated romance with a heft of fantasy

Film: Raabta

Language: Hindi

Director: Dinesh Vijan

Cast: Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Jim Sarbh and Rajkumar Rao

Duration: 2 hrs 14 minutes

Sypnosis: A reincarnation drama with two lovers – Shiv (Sushant Singh Rajput) and Saira (Kriti Sanon) returning to the current century to conclude their once forgotten love affair. These two individuals go through their normal routines until their paths cross. They realize that they belong together, unaware of a connection formed hundreds of years ago. Drawn to each other, they go through a bedlam of love, fantasy, adventure and life, literally twice.

Review: Even after the roadblocks of a controversy of plagiarism for the SS Rajamouli film- Magadheera, the film has been successful in hitting the screens well. The concept of the film, we can safely say, is repetitive. But the movie is way better than the others for the sizzling chemistry of the lead actors – Sushant and Kriti. Though it is incomprehensible how a rich, eccentric and unhinged man who goes around kidnapping women is allowed to roam free in Europe, without any fear of authorities. If your mood speaks for a cute romance with a bulk load of fantasy, then this is the film to watch.

Sehwag

Writing a Resume in less than 140 characters: Sehwag

New Delhi: Virender Sehwag may have said goodbye to cricket on the field, but his hits on Twitter have never missed a shot. Sehwag, an expert in writing 140-character tweets, seems very fond for the brevity of the medium.

His fondness was reflected in the two-line resume that he sent to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

According to a report in The Indian Express, he was allegedly applying for a job as the coach for the Indian cricket team. His application was as follows: "mentor and a coach of Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League and has played with all these boys before."
