Pollution level soars in the city

The pollution level rose in the city on Thursday, making Gurugram again the second most polluted city in the country. The air pollution levels were low for a change in Gurugram during the past week, levels of PM2.5.

The highest level of PM2.5 was 89.90 micrograms per cubic meter at 7.30pm. The city’s air quality index (AQI), however, remained at 170, which is considered as ‘moderate’ and it can cause breathing problems to people with lungs, asthma and heart diseases. According to the national safe standard, the level of PM2.5 shouldn’t be more than 60 micrograms per cubic meter.

DLF Foundation pays homage to soldiers on Kargil Vijay Diwas

DLF Foundation observed Kargil Vijay Diwas at Cyber Hub on Wednesday to pay homage to the martyrs and the brave soldiers of the Kargil War in collaboration with NGO Citizen 4 Forces.

The ceremony commenced with a wreath laying ceremony followed by the history of Kargil War and a song by students of Ridge Valley School and. Families of martyrs of Kargil War including Shaheed Lt. Saurabh Kalia, Shaheed Capt. Amit Verma, Shaheed Capt Vikram Batra and Shaheed Capt. Vijayant Thapar were felicitated on the occasion.

Vatika Group Donates PCR Van

Vatika Group provides PCR vans to Gurugram Police to ensure safety

In a bid to ensure the safety and security of residents, Vatika Group, one of the leading developers in Gurgaon recently provided the Gurugram Police force with two PCR Vans. The vans have been provided at two police station Kherki Daula and the newly built Sector 37 Police Station.  Safety and security have always been one of the major areas of concern in the society.

South Asia Level Delta Cup In China

The NorthCap University’s Team TVN comprising of students Tanyam Popli (Mechanical Engineering) , Shivam Nautiyal (Mechanical Engineering) and Vibhor Mittal (Electronics and Communication) have been selected to compete in a global environment at Delta Cup 2017 Contest at South Asia level and showcase their creativity and innovation through their project based on Smart Machines, Smart Robots and Smart Manufacturing. The project titled ‘Self-Check-out System in Retail’ is a highly applicable design for use in malls around the globe with capacity to save shoppers time and increased sales. Delta China, a branch of Delta Electronics, Taiwan based organization is holding the finals of the contest as a Delta Advanced Automation Design Contest 2017 from 23-26 July 2017 in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China.
