Police finds important clues in Ballabhgarh case

New Delhi: The police has come across some important clues related to Junaid's killing, which happened in a train in Ballabhgarh. Junaid, a muslim teenager, was earlier killed in a train as he was suspected to have been carrying beef. The police found CCTV footage at Asaoti village which is close to the place where the boy was dumped. The footage shows 3 men fleeing on a bike. One of the men fleeing was seen to have a head injury, which the police has guessed was caused while Junaid and his friend were defending themselves using belts. 

Pink Line Of DMRC

Delhi Metro: Pink line will run without driver!

New Delhi: DMRC tested their new metro train Pink Line. It will run from Shiv Vihar- Majlis Park (North Delhi) and will cover around 38 stations. On the completion, the pink line will be the longest line in Delhi Metro. The length of line will be 58.59 km (36.41 mi). It was tested  from Shakarpur to Mayapuri station. Stations included are Shakarpur, Punjabi Bhag (west), ESI Hospital, Rajori Garden and Mayapuri line. After the Blue Line (Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden) this is the second train which will be running without drivers on the tracks.

Eid being celebrated across country with joy and festivity

Delhi: Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm in various parts of the country today. The faithfuls attired in their best thronged Eidgahs and mosques to offer Eid prayers. Later they exchanged Eid greetings.

In Delhi, main congregations were held at Jama Masjid, Fatehpuri Masjid and Shahi Eidgah. Speaking on the occasion, the Imams, who led the prayers appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country. 

The celebration of Eid promotes national integration and the feeling of brotherhood. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the occasion. Reports of Eid celebrations have also come in from other parts of the country.
