Man arrested for misbehaving with CISF woman constable in Delhi

A businessman identified as Purshottam Lal Bagga, 45-year-old who hails from Punjab has been arrested because of mishandling and threatening a woman who later on was found to be an undercover CISF agent posted on terminal 2 of IGI.

For the first time when the woman noticed the man staring at her, ignored it for the first time thinking it as her assumption but later on the man winked at her and also made vulgar gestures with his tongue which was not acceptable by the lady and so she asked him for his passport and questioned his move.

Women’s safety app ‘Himmat’ is relaunched by Delhi police

Delhi police has relaunched the women’s safety app ’Himmat’,for the user with the allowance of testing the app soon after installing it. Now onwards one needs not to remember the password to log in to the app repeatedly. The app is relaunched for the third time and it will bring together all helpline numbers on the platform. It was first launched in 2015 and in order to give it a facelift, with the new version Delhi Police has engaged students from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology.

Sharp drop in second cut off list: DU Admissions

New Delhi: Second list for the admissions have been released by the university on Friday night, reports significant drop in cut off percentages. PGDAV College with the record of highest cut off of 98% for computer science in the first list saw a deterioration of 5% in the second list.

Every year large number of applications is received by the university and usually the difference between the first and second cutoff list is 1.5% but as compared to that this year the difference between the percentages is high.
