Class 9 student murder case: Absconding minor apprehended

Delhi police claimed to have apprehended a minor on Sunday, who was on the run in the connection with strange death of class 9 student in Karawal Nagar, northeast Delhi area.

Victim Tusshar (16), was found unconscious by some of the students in the school bathroom. He was later taken to GTB hospital on 1st February, where he was declared brought dead.

The family of the deceased alleged that he was thrashed to death by some of the students, police added.

In the matter, three students were apprehended on Saturday and one was absconding. The forth was also detained on Saturday evening from Khajuri Khas. CCTV footage revealed about the students who went after him in the school washroom, police said.It was earlier suspected that the victim died due to the internal injuries sustained during the scuffle. However, they allegedly punched him in the neck and face. Police further added. Three of the students with whom he had a fight were apprehended, a senior police official said.
