Rajouri: Soldier Killed In Ceasefire Violation

Pakistani Army had initiated unprovoked firing on Indian army posts in Sunderbani sector at around 6 pm. One soldier was killed and another injured as Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire agreement in Jammu’s Rajouri district in Friday evening.

A Jammu based prolocutor said the Pakistani Army had initiated unprovoked firing on Indian Army posts in Sunderbani sector ataound 6 pm. He said,”The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively”.

According to the army, in the exchange of fire, Rifleman Jaydrath Singh was precariously injured and accedes with his injuries. Another soldier reportedly suffered injuries.

Jaydrath Singh, 28, is a resident of Tehsil Deoband, district Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
