J&K: Four terrorists killed in attack on CRPF camp in Bandipora

Attack 45 Bn CRPF Camp At Sumbal

New Delhi: In Jammu & Kashmir, four unidentified terrorists were killed after paramilitary forces foiled a fidayeen attack on CRPF camp at Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district during wee hours today. 

A police official told AIR that a squad of four terrorists attempted to storm 45 Battalion CRPF camp around 0345 hours in Sumbal area that triggered fierce gunfight. During around one and a half hour gunfight, all the four attackers were killed. 

He said there was no fatal or non fatal causalities on the security forces’ side or any collateral damage during the gunfight. The identities and the affiliations of the slain terrorists are being ascertained.
